Accessibility approach

The website uses semantic headings, keyboard-accessible controls, visible focus styles, large touch targets, strong colour contrast and responsive layouts. Essential content remains available without JavaScript.

Motion

The animated logo entrance, page transitions, section storytelling, smooth scrolling and pointer depth are removed or reduced when a visitor’s device requests reduced motion. The entrance can also be skipped.

Images

Homepage, profile and exercise photographs include factual alternative text and fixed dimensions to reduce layout movement. Responsive image sources allow the browser to select an appropriate file size for the available space.

Forms and navigation

The closed mobile menu is removed from the keyboard sequence. When open, it includes focus management, accurate open and close labels, and Escape-key support. Form fields have labels, an error summary, field-level validation messages and clear sending, success and failure states.

Interactive components

Expandable cards expose their state and associated details to assistive technology. Carousel position, disabled boundaries and the current step are communicated without relying on animation alone. The embedded Google map has a descriptive title, while the full address and a separate directions link remain available if the map cannot be used.
